The Odisha government has made a substantial allocation of ₹1,935 crore for the CM Kisan Yojana for the fiscal year 2024-25. This budget is set to benefit small and marginal farmers as well as landless agricultural households. Additionally, the Samrudh Krushak Yojana has also received a boost with a provision of ₹5,000 crore to meet the promised bonus of ₹800 per quintal to farmers over the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹2,300 per quintal of paddy.
